Christ's Pain, We Gain

Hebrews 9:27-28 Just as man destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

We heard this saying many times: No pain, no gain. But we have gained something not because of our pain, but because of Christ's pain.

PAIN of Christ brought us:

P - Pardon
Christ’s pain at the cross brought forgiveness of our sins. Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people. The one-time sacrificed of Christ is powerful enough to take away the sins of many people. Legally speaking, a pardon will be enforceable only upon the acceptance of that pardon. Without acceptance, it will have no effect. The pardon God is offering is for all the people, but only those who are willing to accept that pardon will be forgiven. Those only who believe and accept Christ Jesus will be pardoned. The uniqueness of God’s forgiveness is this: Hebrews 10:17 "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more."

A - Access
We have now a direct access to God without the intervention of any person (priest, pastor, or even any righteous people). During Christ’s crucifixion in Matthew 27:50-51 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. What does this mean? Before, only the high priest can enter the Most Holy Place. The Most Holy Place was separated by a curtain (not ordinary curtain but a thick and heavy curtain) that no one can enter but only the High Priest. But when Jesus died at the cross, the curtain was torn from top to bottom, which means, that the Most Holy Place, the very presence of God, can be access now directly by anyone. This was confirmed by Hebrews 10:19-21 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God. Jesus himself is our Great Priest, a priest without sin and a High Priest forever. We have now an access to the Most Holy presence of God through Jesus Christ.

I - Inheritance
God has promise us eternal life.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Also in Hebrews 9:15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may received the promised eternal inheritance - now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from sins committed under the first covenant.

And Ephesians 1:13-14 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believe, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession - to the praise of His glory.

This means that God’s promise of eternal life to us is received only through Jesus Christ. The Bible said in John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him. Without Jesus, we will have no eternal life.

N - New Life
John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave us right to become children of God.

2 Corinthian 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things has gone, the new has come!

Also in Ephesians 4:22-24 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires  to be made new in the attitude of your minds and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

We become children of God when we received Jesus. We have now a new relationship. These verses mean that our God is now our Father and we are His children. Our old life, which is being corrupted by deceitful desires, will be changed, and God will give us a new life – a new life in holiness and righteousness.

How could we value God's pain? We value God's PAIN by our GAIN:

G - Gratefulness or Gratitude
We should express our thanks and appreciation to God through our worship and our service.

Hebrews 13:15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess his name.

Romans 12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.

A - Accomplishment
God has commanded us to accomplish something.

Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age

Matthew 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.

God is much concerned with our accomplishment, not just our involvement.

Philippians 3:14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:29 because to you it hath been granted in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer in his behalf

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

These verses tell us that God is pleased when we do and accomplished His plan in this world.

I - Importance
God should be our priority. In Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you as well. And Colossians 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. God is pleased when we set our minds on the things God is concern.

Do everything for God's pleasure. Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

When we make God our priority and doing his will not for our pleasure but for His pleasure, we are able to prove to God that He is more important than anything in this world.

N - No more sinning
Do not waste God’s sacrifice and sufferings by going back to your old life.

2 Peter 2:20-22 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its vomit," and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud."

Hebrews 10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left

God has suffered pain by sacrificial death to forgive us and save us. Go on now with your new life in Christ and sin no more.

Romans 6:12-13 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do no offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness.

Official Presence on Facebook – Opportunities and Pitfalls

The Internet, as a medium, has opened the doors to a wide range of communication possibilities with customers. The interactive characteristic of the medium also makes it possible for a customer to publish his response to a vast audience. Social networking sites, particularly Facebook, which is getting increasingly popular around the world, have given customers an equal opportunity to communicate as loudly as you about your brand, in a public forum open to the whole world.

On the brighter side, there is a great opportunity to acquire direct and unadulterated feedback from customers, without the need of expensive and time-consuming surveys and research processes. Directly redressing customer queries on the medium itself can help increase brand loyalty.  However, as a brand owner, you need to realize the speed and potential of the medium to do good as well as harm.

Facebook Opportunity for Your Brand

There are enough reasons for a brand to be on one of the most happening mediums. A significant amount of conversation that happens on Facebook, or for that matter on other social platforms like Twitter, carries references to brands, with customer's attitude toward these clearly seen through them.

The fact is that whether you are there on Facebook, it is very likely that someone or the other from your customer base may be making a mention about you. Your brand presence during such a situation is important to either thank the customer for any accolades or gracefully respond and address any grievances posted by the customers and win back their confidence in your brand.

On a proactive note, sustained brand presence on Facebook also helps you create your own band of customers, including those interested in you. This gives you one point access to disburse any firsthand brand information in a single click, without spending a dime more.

Today, brands – both big and small – have a presence on Facebook. Some of them use it with more innovation than the rest.

Brand Pitfalls on Facebook

Traditional marketers are used to broadcast, which is an extremely formal means of communication, where customers voices are barely heard back. Coming from this background, many a time, marketers find it difficult to adjust and converse in the language demanded by social networking sites, which are much informal in nature.

There have been instances where brand owners trying to enforce rules and guidelines of discussion on Facebook fan pages have faced the immediate wrath of users, which had an adverse impact on the brand.

The lesson from this is very clear, the brand must try to avoid any pitfalls on Facebook; marketers must know the responsiveness and energy levels of the users and be one among them, rather than one above.

Word of Caution – World of opportunity in Facebook

For every scary story of a brand goof up on Facebook, there are many cases of success, where even small household brands have grown in popularity through effective use of the medium.

Two golden rules to be followed while using Facebook, which can yield good results in the long run, are as follows:

Do not be a big brother – be a cheerful friend to your customers. The big brother attitude, which worked fine in traditional media, can kill your brand on Facebook. Any showdown of brand arrogance or one-upmanship is given a bitter response by its customers in the same medium. For a brand to succeed, it has to be a friend, who is fun to speak with.

Do not advertise, converse – Blatant advertising, or use of social networks for incessant spamming with interruptive advertising, is a sure recipe for disaster. You will find your brand page getting isolated on Facebook.

There are many ethics to be followed on Facebook and social media, which can be easily grasped through active participation in the medium itself. A company must ensure that its trained representatives have marked presence on Facebook and social networking avenues as true online custodians for the brand. For many companies, it also makes sense to engage an agency that is experienced in handling brand reputations on Facebook and online avenues.

Acai Berry - a Must for your Health

"Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." - 3 John 1:2

Wisdom is to the soul. Health is to the body. People nowadays are becoming more keen and conscious about preserving and maintaining good health.

That is why there are a lot of food supplements, diet programs, and devised exercised routines to further improve the condition of their bodies or prevent sickness from coming through. One phenomenal health supplement in the market today is the Acai berry.

The Acai berry's rise to stardom was jump started when it  was featured in the Oprah Winfrey Show as a wonder berry that offers the promise of anti-aging, weight loss, and effective health supplement. Since then, a lot of Acai berry products has mushroomed in the market.

Acai is a member of the palm tree family that is native to Central and Southern part of America. The fruit is harvested about two times a year and is a predominant part of the local people's food intake. What is in Acai berry that earned it reputation to be the wonder berry of the century?

This fruit is primarily chock full of anti-oxidants. Our body is prone to free radical build up. Even the process of metabolism in our body produces free radicals. Unfortunately, free radical formation is damaging to the body. What eliminates these free radicals are anti-oxidants.

Anti-oxidants has been known to maintain the healthy condition of the skin and also the human body in general by boosting the immune system and promote healing.

It also has amino acids and protein. Protein plays an important part in cell regeneration. Some of our cells naturally die after a specific period of time and some are damaged due to external conditions. In these cases protein is necessary to repair these harmfully affected areas. Since Acai berry also consists of protein, it can effectively help the body to carry out its cell-regenerating function.

Omega fats are also considerably found in Accai berries. Omega fatty acids are known to have beneficial effects to our body, one of which is regulation of cholesterol. Acai berry, thus, is also effective in fighting off heart diseases.

The next component of Acai berry is electrolytes. Electrolytes are not just taken if you have loose bowel movement, since it is the main thing that the body uses in order to regulate the electrical flows from cell to cell.

Acai berry is one of the most taken anti-oxidant rich food supplement today. Indeed, it is a very healthy food that can help you achieve that ideal body condition.

However, consuming Acai berry must go hand in hand with the right exercise and the right diet in order for it to be fully effective. The berry alone is not the answer. It is the effort of changing lifestyle for the better that counts the most.

Face Your Customers On Facebook

Face Your Customers with Facebook

Communicating effectively with customers and delivering the right message to the right people has been one of the major challenges for any marketer since day one. Since early days of marketing, various forms of communication medium have been evolving with developments in technology as well as its consumers.

For a long time in the history of marketing communication, media remained the stronghold of newsmakers and advertisers and communication was mostly one way from the marketer to the reader. However, the trend of this inequality of voice was broken with the advent of the Internet and further developments within that medium itself.
